Ardans SAS was founded on 27 December 1999 as an independent company and has established itself as a leader in knowledge engineering in France by offering consulting services combining IT Information Technology and KM expertise Knowledge Management , publishing knowledge engineering methods and tools (AKM Ardans Knowledge Maker) and software component libraries (AIM Ardans Information Maker).

The vision of the founders of Ardans is that "know-how constitutes the identity of the organisation, and its capitalisation is the added value of its future". Ardans' ambition is to help organizations master their knowledge. The concrete response is naturally inserted into the business processes: the information and knowledge system (IKS). This pragmatic offer for Intangible Assets Management ® (IAM) is the major challenge for sustainable companies.

The services offered by Ardans are: consulting for the implementation of the collective memory; IT & KM Knowledge Management expertise in the design, implementation and support for the operation of the information and knowledge system, with user training and ad hoc methodology; publishing of the Ardans Knowledge Maker software or Ardans Information Maker libraries, and associated R&D support
