The French national radioactive waste management agency, ANDRA, is asked by the government to put in motion and assure safe solutions of management for all the radioactive waste, in order to protect the actual and the future generation from the risk that these waste represent. In its mission, an activity is to classify all the radioactive substance and waste produced in France (amount, location, projected amount). The law do the national inventory produced by ANDRA the reference for all the studies and researches lead in the setting of the French national plan for the radioactive substance and waste management (PNGMDR).
|
In order to satisfy this context, ANDRA wishes to dipose of a stabilized and shared reference source among the agency. This reference source would be on the knowledge of the waste and the package of waste already produced or planned to be produced on which it would be possible to build difference exercices (studies, choice of sector, inventory) with the guarantee of consistency of these exercices. Thie reference source, called "fundamental knowledge", must also map out all the retained choices, whether they are associated with the description of a scenario or taken for the waste conditionning, along with the evolutions of these hypothesis. Thus, the platform of knowledge delivers a global vision of the waste. In order to establish such a complete reference source of a considerable amount of information, ANDRA has judged essential to set up a fundamental knowledge to equip the set up of the reference source on the different waste families contionned or not: OSCAR. |
At the end of a consulation of type "competitive dialogue" directed in the view to ensure a better traceability and flexibility of the fundamental knowledge, it is the solution Ardans Knowledge Maker® v3 that was retained to develop OSCAR in shorts and controled delays. The following functionalities of the tool were particularly appreciated:

The knowledge platform OSCAR opens up an outlook in the new uses around the exploitation of the knowledge it holds:
